Turning experience into something people and AI can act on

What the book returns to throughout is the ability to turn experience into a form that both people and AI can act on. The better AI gets at producing answers, the more the difference comes down to whether you have the experience to judge those answers, put them into words, and hand them on to people and to AI. The book takes this up in three stages:

• Beginners: work alongside AI, fail together with it, and build experience
• Intermediates: teach AI, putting assumptions, constraints, and decision criteria into words, and get past “I think I get it”
• Leaders: lead several AIs as a team, and turn the skill of giving directions into the skill of developing people
